External review is a best practice intended to provide an outside perspective on program strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to improve. As an independent reviewer, our only motivation is to provide constructive feedback to improve your program.
A typical program review includes the following elements:
- Review of existing policies, procedures, documentation
- Campus visit to interview key constituents, including athletics staff, coaches, student-athletes and campus representatives from key interface areas (admissions, financial aid, facilities, alumni relationship/development, student affairs)
- Assessment report highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
- Recommendations for improving effectiveness and efficiency
- Benchmark comparison data with you conference and other identified peer group institutions
